Hello, lovelies! And HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Please forgive the lack of communication and updates, as I have been off-line for a bit, dealing with some personal/family things. If you know me at all, you understand that I'm a very private person, and sharing something like this is not my norm, but... you deserve to know where things stand and why, so please see below:
Starting last week, my mother-in-law fell and broke her back. She lives in a tiny town in Colorado and has suffered from major health problems for years. She was medivac’d to a hospital nearby. Then, once stable, she was transferred to a nursing home for recover, but unfortunately had to be moved to a different hospital when her labs showed liver and kidney failing. After that, the news got worse, and the doctors there discovered that not only was she severely dehydrated, she had a massive bone infection in her leg, so they transported her again last night to a bigger city hospital where we hope she can get the care she needs.
Needless to say, add that to taking care of my family of five, hosting Christmas, and managing my seventeen barn cats and their vet appointments… it’s been a little crazy around here. We’re now waiting to see if we need to take an emergency trip to Colorado to help coordinate things on-site.
As many of you are aware, all Kickstarter authors are now having to figure out how to navigate the new GPSR restrictions regarding EU shipments. I know a lot of authors have simply cancelled their overseas shipments, but I don’t want to do that to you! I have a lot of backers from overseas and want you to know that I’m working diligently on making sure there are no issues so that shipping can continue soon! Also, I’ve been asked by some of my Canadian backers to not ship anything at this time as well, as they too are dealing with a Post strike. NOTE: This does not affect anyone in the US, and shipping is continuing same as before, slowly but surely. As always, thank you for your patience. I’m trying to coordinate as many projects as possible for those who backed my multiple campaigns. That way, you can receive as many of the rewards possible in one shipment.
